EuroMillions £1Million Winner Gets All Expenses Trip To Australia Thrown In

What's it like to win £1million and a trip of a lifetime to Australia after winning the EuroMillions Mega Friday?

Pizza restaurant manager Michael Marshall won a life-changing £1 million which included a trip of a life time to Australia.

Mr Marshall, who worked at Stone Willy’s Pizza in Corsham, handed in his notice as soon as Camelot confirmed his win.

Before they left, Michael and partner Kelly stayed at the Whatley Manor in style.

The unique prize was one of ten available in the EuroMillions Mega Friday draw on Friday 28th November 2014.

The special draws create multiple millionaires and also offers amazing non cash prizes.

On their way... a shot by Kelly of Michael in his comfortable business class seat.

Michael discovered he’d won the life-changing prize after the Friday night draw and he spent the rest of the evening in disbelief, checking and rechecking his numbers with his girlfriend Kelly.

“I couldn’t believe it when I saw that I’d won, in fact, I still can’t. I couldn’t stop laughing on Friday night – my girlfriend thought I was joking,” he said. “We had a bit of a late night on Friday; celebrating and talking about how to spend the money."

Michael relaxs by the pool at their hotel in Sydney.

The couple took their amazing Australian holiday in the New Year.

They flew business class to Australia before spending two weeks traveling round the country.

Diving at the Great Barrier Reef was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for the couple.

On the agenda were visiting some of its most famous landmarks including the Sydney Opera House, Uluru (Ayres Rock) and the Great Barrier Reef.

A helicopter sightseeing flight was the highlight of their travel.

When he returned from the all expenses paid trip, Michael, who currently lives with his parents, planned to buy his own home - as well as a new one for his Mum and Dad nearby.

A lifelong Liverpool supporter, he hopes to see his team play more often now that he won’t be working weekends.

Here's a sneak peek of their once-in-a-lifetime trip.
